Housekeeping Assistant


Description

The Copthorne Hotel Slough Windsor is currently seeking to recruit a Casual Housekeeping Assistant to join our Housekeeping Department.

As a Casual Housekeeping Assistant, your Key Responsibilities Include:

· To service the rooms allocated to the standards laid down by the Executive Housekeeper and Copthorne Hotels

· To replace any used or missing items from rooms i.e., renewal of soap, towels, sheets, brochures, and info sheets.

· To wash, dry and replace all used crockery in rooms, and replenish stocks of tea, coffee, milk and sugar.

· To be fully aware of standards specified for layouts in all different types of bedrooms and to ensure that these are always correctly carried out.

· To occasionally service corridors and public areas to standards laid down.

· Report all lost property to the Head Housekeeper or the Office.

· To maintain the required standard of cleanliness within service areas, corridors, guest lift areas and fire exits.

· To work according to work schedule and to carry out the daily tasks allocated by supervisor.

· To report any maintenance faults to supervisor or Housekeeping Office.

· To undertake any other reasonable requests made by the Management of the Hotel.

The ideal Casual Housekeeping Assistant should have:

· Previous experience in 4* hotel is desirable, although full training is provided.

· Good communications skills and positive and energetic nature.
