Description
The Copthorne Hotel Newcastle is seeking an experienced Casual Room Attendant
The Casual Room Attendant role will involve working as a part of a team, with the successful candidate having real attention to details and they must work well under pressure. This position will be engaged on a casual contract for services and therefore work will be given when available.
As a Casual Room Attendant your key responsibilities include:
- To collect room keys and daily duty sheet.
- To stock work trolley for days work.
- To clean rooms to the set standard.
- To change and replace linen.
- To carry out daily cleaning programme as laid down by the Head Housekeeper.
- Report all lost property to the Head Housekeeper or the Office.
- To maintain the required standard of cleanliness within service areas, corridors, guest lift areas and fire exits.
- To work according to work schedule and to carry out the daily tasks allocated by supervisor.
- To report any maintenance faults to supervisor or Housekeeping Office.
- To undertake any other reasonable requests made by the Management of the Hotel.
We are keen to hear from applicants with the following
- Previous experience in 4* hotel is desirable, although full training is provided.
- Excellent communications skills
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude, who works well under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills
