The Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie.

The Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen is seeking for a Chef de Partie who will be responsible for overseeing a section of the kitchen to ensure that it runs smoothly and in accordance with four star standards and guest expectations.

As Chef de Partie your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare mise-en-place for all menus.
  • Prepare, cook and present food as per kitchen manual, including staff meals.
  • Ensure correct portion control as instructed by Head Chef.
  • Prepare all dishes as instructed by Head and/or Sous Chef.
  • Operate and clean equipment correctly and safely, adhering to maintenance and cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe and tidy at all times.
  • Supervise Commis Chefs.
  • Control the security of company stock and property.
  • Adhere to all regulations in respect of Health, Safety, Hygiene, Guest Safety, Fire Regulations, Emergency Procedures etc.
  • To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to colleagues.

  • Create Enthusiasm: Operating with a good deal of energy, intensity and emotional expression.
  • Follow Procedures: Adopting a systematic and organised approach; preferring to work in a precise, methodical manner; developing and utilising guidelines and procedures.
