What does your role bring to the table?

The Hourly and Management Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, engaging, assessing and hiring talent across all restaurants at Snooze An A.M. Eatery. The Contract Recruiter effectively articulates the culture, ethics, mission and values of the Company, and provides an exceptional candidate experience to all candidates, regardless of whether or not they are selected to be a part of the Snooze family. The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a knack for building relationships, a high level of honesty and integrity, and enjoys finding absolute B.O.Bs (best of the best). This individual will play a critical role in building and growing the Snooze family.


The Position specifics!
Taking on the role of Contract Recruiter isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Source, attract, select, offer, negotiate, and onboard new Snoozers. Positions include: General Managers, Head Chefs, Sous Chefs, Assistant General Managers, and all Hourly Snoozers.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Lead to manage headcount requests and initiate recruitment process with hiring managers
  • Proactively communicate with hiring managers, giving regular updates on the status of their open position(s)
  • Facilitate discussions with hiring managers when a new position opens to gather necessary information and set hiring timeline expectations
  • Drives a positive candidate experience and proactively educates hiring managers/hiring teams on how to approve their candidate experience.
  • Collects feedback from hiring managers on candidates they have screened/interviewed
  • Utilizes Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to its fullest extent and acts as subject matter expert as it pertains to questions and training requests from restaurant operations
  • Source passive candidates through proactive outreach by phone, internet, personal and social networks
  • Expertly articulates the culture, ethics, mission and values of Snooze, An A.M. Eatery
  • Other duties as assigned and based upon hiring needs of the business

Let’s talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in recruiting, preferably in hospitality industry
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools e.g. Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience with all social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
  • Knowledge and experience with job recruiting sites such as Glassdoor, Indeed, Craigslist, Sirvo,
  • HCareers, CareerBuilder, Snagit, Zip Recruiter, and Monster.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Harri, Taleo, Workday, iCIMS, TalentReef, Greenhouse, Work Pop, Etc.

  • Must have the stamina to work 20-25 hours per week
  • The travel required for this position is approximately 5% and you must be able to travel for up to 5 days at one time (air, car, bus. Train, and weekend travel all required)
  • Home-based must be located in an existing Snooze region

The Nitty Gritty Details

Denver area base hourly range: $25 - $30 per hour

The hourly range below represents the low and high end of the Snooze range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for employees.
