The Conduit is looking for an exceptional Partnerships Manager to support the development and delivery of a robust Impact Partnership strategy that generates business revenue and enables organisations to reach their social impact and sustainability goals.

As the Partnerships Manager you will:

  • Support the design and delivery of The Conduit’s Impact Partner strategy and activities
  • Manage partnership discussions from prospecting and proactive outreach, to writing and pitching bespoke proposals aligned with their sustainability strategy and impact objectives 
  • Conduct market analysis of key private sector companies aligned with Conduit values and create and maintain a robust pipeline of targets
  • Build strong relationships with corporates employing a variety of strategies to engage senior leaders and C-suite executives
  • Manage partnership discussions from outreach, initial pitch and writing bespoke proposals to conversion and partnership management and delivery, including 
  • Deliver outstanding account management and partnership deliverables for secured partners (e.g. events, high level dinners, tailored introductions, content) ensuring renewals and the upsell of partnership products
  • Work closely with The Conduit’s Marketing team to co-ordinate strategy execution, lead sharing and upselling opportunities 
  • Conduct and manage up-to-date competitor analysis
  • Work with the Marketing team to create brand-aligned partnership collateral
  • Work with the Programme and Content Team to deliver Impact Partner content

  • Work with Impact Partners to share The Conduit’s commitments to Inclusion and Diversity and ensure that all Impact partner activities meet these commitments

  • Supports and contributes to the overall success of The Conduit

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ working in Business Development/Partnerships 
  • Knowledge of ESG, sustainability and impact, and the key issues that need to be addressed by organisations and business leaders  
  • Confidence to speak with senior stakeholders about their sustainability and impact objectives 
  • Design of programmes, workshops or roundtables for corporates/c-suite executives 
  • Network of potential business development leads  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, other languages a plus  
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and creative 
  • Commercial aptitude, digital and numerical fluency  
  • Technical knowledge and experience of working on social and/or environmental impact-focused partnerships or projects a plus 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team 
  • Ability to manage and prioritise challenging workloads 
  • Strongly results oriented with the ability to work independently and show initiative.
