Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

Prepare weekly reports to support Company Cafes, including graphs, metrics, analysis, sales forecasts, cost of sales (actual versus theoretical), labor productivity and other operating costs. Assist in analyzing ad interpreting trends and financial results.
Responsible for sourcing, from the data warehouse and occasionally supporting systems, any information needed for analysis and decision-making for cafe operations.
Ensure cafe operations’ data, reporting, and analytics needs are met by producing top quality dashboards, reports and graphs.
Leverage various analytical techniques and tools to conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses that explain current and past activity, causal effects, expected trends and potential impact of changes.
Generate financial and operating insights as the basis for decision-making, financial improvement opportunities, and enhancement of the business.
Present and support findings and recommendations to various management levels within the organization.
Serve as an advisor to the Cafe Operations leadership team and Cafe General Managers on spending in accordance with annual budgets and forecasts. Review P&L spending for efficiency and effectiveness against business and evaluate variances, risks and opportunities.
Help maximize profitability by supporting food and beverage development processes such as menu development, group menus, seasonal features, limited time offers, local items and day-part strategies (e.g. lunch, happy hour, late night).
Analyze and quantify impact of all proposed price changes, monitor execution of price changes and promotional initiatives, and key business metrics to assess the impact of pricing actions and promotional initiatives.
Support Cafe Operations in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Champion continuous and measurable improvement in the company’s financial and operational processes and practices.
Non-Essential Functions:

Coordinate operations between departments.
Teach/coach and document employees who fail to meet standards to maintain a high quality workforce.
Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors.
Attend client functions and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction and promote future business.
Build business/market share by thinking of new ways to promote company and by participating in local events to increase sales and profits.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with in the business and social community.
Spearhead annual philanthropic initiatives.
Work as a team, helping all employees to complete the required activities that ensure we blow away Guest expectations.
Maintain low staff turnover rate and high morale.
Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock.
Utilize programs designed to help Save the Planet.
